What Are Intention and Attention?
Intention is the internal compass—the "why" behind our actions. It arises from within, deeply personal and subjective, aligning us with our higher purpose or values. It’s the quiet voice that asks, "What truly matters to me?"
Attention, on the other hand, is where we direct our focus externally. It’s the "what"—the actions and experiences we engage with in our environment. Attention is the spotlight we shine on the world around us.
When intention (our inner world) and attention (our external focus) are in alignment, we experience creativity, resilience, and a sense of fulfillment. This alignment bridges the gap between who we are and what we do, creating a life that feels whole.
Breath as the Bridge Between Mind and Action
The breath is a powerful connector between our internal and external worlds. It’s the rhythm that aligns intention with attention, grounding us in the present moment while enabling mindful action. Conscious breathwork serves as a tool to:
